Default Powerloss

I wrote the other day off the power loss I have over 4000 rpm. I have tried some god injector cleaner, and took the car for a spin yesterday night. Feels god at a start, then suddenly it started to shake when I pulled the gas in low speed. I checked the distributor drive belt, and it seams too be okay. Something else is wrong with the ignition system….is it a spark plug, a distributor cap, rotor or perhaps something completely different as a sensor somewhere ?? Its only 6 weeks since the yearly service, but I don’t think they changed the sparkplug. Only together with the big service when they do the valve adjustment.
Question: Can I get any clue if I tell my mechanic (very occupied man at the moment) to connect my car to diagnostic system…..I mean how in detail is this presented? I ´m looking for a short cut in my working hours this weekend!

Many of us including me fixed some poor running problems by replacing the ignition coils. Do not rely on a low-voltage VOM test - mine checked out perfect but one was sparking internally. The popping in the radio stopped when I replaced the coils. If your's are original, they are on borrowed time.

Inspect the inside of the distributor caps for high-voltage tracking (track marks are black). If the wires are sparking before the plugs fire, the electronics sometimes picks that up and gets scrambled. Good luck, and be sure to report back.

Haven’t found the time this weekend to have it all checked out since I’m building a new Carport for the wife’s Cabrio!!
Took the Porsche for a spin this evening, and the car runs perfect to 7000 rpm on second gear, but the engine starts to hack in 4 gear over 4000 rpm….any hint there
