Kavo, I love the MaWF, its one charity I like to support. However I can't help but think this is designed to combat the negative remarks in another thread. I hate to cast aspersions that your charitable intent isn't genuine but......

I prefer to think it was a misunderstanding.

With that in mind, I bid $50. And, since I don't need the manual, Dell can have it if I win.

Obviously it's meant to do just that as money was the driving force behind the sale and the resulting events......but if his intentions are good and this makes him feel better about it then so be it.

I can assure you there was no misunderstanding.

Ed (Kavo), I wish you the best of luck with your charity auction. Something good will come of this by choosing this course.

What a great thing to do Kavo, regardless how others may feel about this, I think it's very honorable and raise the bid to $80.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about so I will raise to $100. I recently purchased an RSA, but I won't see it until Oct 9 so I might need the manuals. If I won't need the manuals, Dell can have them.

Got it - but still don't think it's a big deal. I probably won't need the manuals so provided I am still the high bidder on Sunday, Dell can have them.

No, definitely not a big deal at all...just a tad petty.

Correct, not a big deal at all. But I sure wouldn't call it petty. I would call it a lesson learned.
