Haven't had my oil changed at a shop in a while, but last time it was around $150 including oil and filter. It's been a couple years though. I would think you'll be charged about an hour of labor plus cost of oil and filter. Oh yeah and the crush washers at $.35 a piece!

I use Brad Penn 20w50 Racing @ $64.95 for 12 bottles, Mahle Oil filter @ $9.95, plus my own labour and an hours worth of bonding with the car.

(...and saving yourself from someone accidentally putting the magnetic [crankcase] plug in the oil tank -- or even finding the oil tank.)
That level of trust only comes from yourself or a specialty shop.

Edit:

A: On your own: $65 (= 10 qts BPenn @ $5.40 + $10 (Mahle filter) + $1 (2 new crush seals) + $0 (self-satisfaction))

Last time a shop did it for me was about 3 years ago, about $130 using $4/qt. oil.
And they threw in an overfilling for free. That was the last time.

Now I overfill it myself and save !!!

I get an AMSOIL 2.5 gallon container of synthetic oil at $82.30, a $15 filter, a couple of crush rings. I have been doing this myself lately, because it's so simple, but have occasionally taken it up to a local place with all the stuff. I think they charged me $20 last time. So, $100-$120 total. The 2.5 gallon size is perfect for a refill, and cheaper, too. I usually buy a case of oil in liters to top it up between changes.

Oh crap, I didn't realize it was time to put in a name-drop for <your favorite oil here>...

Mine's Redline. Horrendously expensive and worth every penny.
What does everybody else use?

My guy uses Royal Purple. $200 for everything. He gives the car a once over also. I'm usually there for 2 hours.
