Default Fitting New Locks

some b4st4rds tried to get into my 964 turbo last weekend and managed to do a proper job on both drivers and passenger door locks. Looks like they took a hammer and screwdriver to punch out the barrels. Fortunately they didn't get in but now I can't get my key to turn.

got a full set of locks from a breakers and now need to get them fitted. Ideally (as I've got a wedding to pay for in less than a month) I'd like to fit them myself. Has anyone done it? is it difficult? is there a write up anywhere on how to do it ? If i do get a professional in how much labour is likely to be needed?

Appears to be an 'inside' job: Access barrel from handle once handle is off door... which means accessing the handle's two retaining locknuts on the inside of the door... which means removing the door's inner panel...

Doable, tedious... typical old-school Porsche pita disassembly.

Doing a search under 'door panel removal' and 'door handle' should be very productive.
Good luck with this.

(-- And to those guys who did this to your car? May their next job be opening the trailer door of a mamba collection...)
