If that ain't enough to make ya all tingly:
  • all the rustproof-ness... of a '66 tub.
  • all the longevity... of a 2-7 plant.
  • all the turbo power... of a turbo badge.
  • all the factory racing authenticity... of pin striping.
  • and decals -- did I forget to mention decals?
A regular "Where's Waldo" of poseur-isms.

Edit -- The above's too harsh.
In reflection, my empathy goes to the effort/expense/sweat involved.

Don't Hate....it just goes to show, some people were born with no taste. There is nothing you can do about it. I'm guessin' it's got those really cool floor mats with the flames!

I am trying to say - "to each their own" - but the words just won't come out...

Aren't those wheel covers the "GP" ones advertised in Panorama back in the early '90s? I'm going to go look them up....

I looked up those wheels in an old Pano (Sept. 1994) and came up with the following:

"GTP Development: GTP, number one in cooling your braking systems, has developed a simple adapter that converts the alloy wheels on your Porsche into high-tech racing wheels. The air-flow created by the GTP cooling fan is brought out from under the car, creating coller brakes, thus improving your car's braking performance and downforce. $495/set of 4."

That is them alright!

I agree... but this guy did not just come up with this design... Kremer is to blame for this...

I guess I felt alluded to for what I am doing to my poor SC....

Jaime, you are doing NOTHING of the sort to your sc. Your sc is being modified with a serious eye towards performance, as well as looking damn good. This thing is an abomination, pure and simple. This one took an early car(which there are less and less of) and bastardized it like it owed him money. Hopefully it was a heavily rusted shell to start.

I agree with some of what's been been said, however these are some harsh comments. Even if you don't like it (Kremer is to blame) you have to admire the amount of sweat and work that must have gone into this. I think they guy simply tried to build his dreamcar and I wouldn't crucify him for it.
