Its still a free country (well sort of):
your car + your money = your decision

So good luck but beauty is often in the eye of the beholder, so if you go ahead and post back here looking for comments- careful what you ask for; you WILL get them.

I would add a Strosek spoiler/tail out back but that's about it. Having a 959 would be great....but just a 959 body kit....no so much.

My question is do I have enough power to pull off the 959... or is it too dated?... Is it too much to lust after?
Ummm... no. No. And, ah... no.

(Then, again, lots of stuff other folks lust after leaves me stupified...)

I seem to get a lot of compliment on my 964 with a Strosek kit installed at the Strosek factory.

I don't see how this has devalued my 964. In fact it seems to set it apart from most stock 964's.

And its the right colour.

Is that an integrated flared qtr/rocker panel in the rear?

You've spotted the major weakness in the car.

I would like to change to cup mirrors but it would mean some body work to the doors in order to remove the existing ones.

I don't believe that it is an gtr/rocker panel. It is part of the Strosek package which included a slight flair on the front fenders, new front spoiler, the large flairs on the rear fender, the back wing, changes to the suspension, new exhaust and mods to the engine. I have a copy of the original receipt and it totalled over US$50,000.

Why not buy a 3.6 turbo and have it already done correctly? By that outfit called Porsche....

Talking

Or you can go with my strosek knock-off rear wing, install new suspension (JIC Cross, Rennline strut brace, TRG adjustable front and rear sways) and get geoffrey to build your 9M engine.... I pick mine up towards the end of the month....

I have a couple of comments:

1. I love the look of a 959, but the widebody strosek look might be more appropriate for a 964.
2. Our cars have no value anyways, so it doesnt really matter what you do to it.
3. Fiberglass kits require alot of expert work to make them look good.
