Hello: got problem and I wonder if someone has an idea on what it could be:
yesterday i started the car after some month or so and when I switched it off after a drive the rear electric fan (that on the upper left part of the engine) kept running. It does not stop running ever. I had to disconnect its plug after an hour or so as I feared the battery would run out. I started/used the car a few times but the problem is still there.
Does anyone know what could be the issue?
thanks in advance
Pietro

It could be a transistor problem. See the following thread:

A common problem with the rear blower is that the contacts of the relay get fused together. Just to check you can swap the relay for the oil cooler from the front electrical panel to the rear blower - they are the same part.
Another option is that the NTC sensor (on the top of the plenum) may be faulty. This switches on the blower if the engine air temp is high. If it's faulty it could leave the blower on permanently.
Regards
Dave
