Hi
I have cleaned up the outside of my engine case before reassembling it. There were a few areas of oxidisation around the flywheel end which I have now removed.
Is there a recommended what of protecting the case, was thinking of a silicone spray grease or similar, but don’t want dirt to be attracted to it over time when its back in the car.
Thank You

Nothing really wrong with a little dirt. The factory cosmolene seems to work pretty well. Sorry, I don't know were to get it, but industrial supply houses have protective coatings for nearly everything.
