I don't like black wheels and I don't like tails, but *damn* your car looks fine!

Actually, I do like the duck tail pretty much every time I've seen it.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. The seats are recaro sport toplines and the color is Baltic Blue. I hope the pics look better. Still trying to figure this out. The house is not mine but a client's. Took 2 years to build but turned out very nice. Could buy a lot of 964's w/ that money. Thanks.

That was pretty skinny money for what appears to be a very nice 3.8- what gives?

I was basing price on what I had heard and seen market values doing on the 964. Car needs nothing and runs great. I have in excess of 55k in it including the 20k I paid for it 3 years ago. It's my first Porsche and kept spending the moon on it. I have a bad habit of buying cars, however it is improving. I really do love the cayman but based on driving my father's boxster not funner, maybe just better for longer rides. In the end I couldn't justify losing the money on the 964, whatever it finally would sell for to possbily satisfy a short term whim. The car does get a lot of positive comments and is extremely fun to drive. Thanks.

Dude, that car looks awesome just like it is! Time to enjoy it, and log some miles. You won't duplicate it without spending a chunk, and it'll still smoke a Cayman S on the track!

I'm glad you've reconsidered- even if you got $10k more for it I think you might have regretted it one day.

That is a mean looking car. The clear corners, black wheels, non-standard color...I'm glad you kept it.

I thought those looked familiar, I have the same seats only in black, they are great! big improvement over stock.

having about the same in my car and not getting much interest I too pulled her off the market, people want something for nothing and right now the 964 is way-y under appreciated in the p-car world in my view. give it time, these are great cars.

Did you also put the "porsche" across the back tail like the 73 RS? I had a 72 that was an RS clone way back when. I love the look of your car and keeping it was a great move. If you have a pic of the back of the car please post.

Thanks guys. I feel good that I kept the car. I do need to drive it more and not feel so paranoid about leaving it parked unattended. My F-150 is worth more and I could care less about parking and leaving it. Go figure. I guess that's why the 964 feels special to drive. I do really like the color and feel the black wheels and carrera script help accent the color. I'm afraid I will never be able to keep up with a cayman S on the track but would like to see another driver in my car do so.

Jscaramella....Still not sure if I like the tail. Thought about putting script on back like you said but with the 964 rear lense now having "PORSCHE" written in it thought it might be too much. Just haven't looked to see what others have done. Looking for ideas. Thanks.

mjshira.....You have a beautiful car. When I bought my car I had no idea on which models were more popular than others but I really liked the style. I hope the 964 continues to gain momentum. Good luck w/ your sale. I too can't believe all the nice cars in mint condition on the market right now selling for low numbers. At least the buyers are happy.

No way I'd sell that for a Cayman.

Default duck tail

Is the the duck tail grafted on the stock rear deck or is a complete unit?
