Default Change in performance with 1 week old fuel

Does anybody add some kind of fuel treatment to their gas? I notice if I fill up and let the car sit for a week the engine looses its characteristic smooth demeanor. Shifts require more attention to keep smooth and the available torque changes with each traffic light.

Any similar experiences?

I have left fuel on the boat over the winter (4+ months), and not noticed any running problems when I start up. I put Sta-bil in the fuel on the last fill of the season.

I've not notice any difference on old fuel in the 964, and I have let it sit for two or three weeks between drives.

It is not likely to be the fuel's one week additional age. I would look into something else as the cause. Is there any relationship between the fuel level in the tank and this performance variation? If you completely fill the tank, then let it sit full for a week do you find the same problem?
