Default Driving a Tip for the first time...

Not sure whether I like this or not. Its great in traffic and the wife is enamored with it but at around 3,500rpm in 3rd @ 60mph I expect to have plenty of torque. Whats the best way for a new tip driver to get the most performance out of this gearbox? In situations where my C4 would simply 'fly' this car feels somewhat 'sluggish'.

I expect for the most part its my lack of experience with a tip and its 4 gears. Only got another day to 'play' with it....any advice?

Just put it in the "manual" mode and drop to 2 - you'll go!

stomp on the gas and it will down shift and go to near redline.

It was in fact in manual and I've kept it in manual most of the time to be honest...still no real umph!

Seriously, its got lots of pull in 2nd but seemingly very little in 3rd. I can't seem to get it to perform quite how I want it to (i.e. like my manual C4).
