Although I have no experience with this shop (bought some parts during their moving sale) they seem to have a good reputation in the area. The owner is a regular on the Pelican board as well. They also put on a great New Years Fun Run. Valencia to Van Nuys is about 20 miles.

I used Modern Auto Technology in Pasadena when I lived there. Was very pleased with their service and prices were reasonable. Gave 10% discount for PCA club members.
