Welcome!
Here is a picture of mine.
Take a look at the Blaupunkt Brisbane SD48 (loaded unit) or Monte Carlo MP28 (lower end). They are not flashey and are all black... not many sedated all black faced units anymore.
My wheels are from a 996 / Boxster. Can't remember the offset and width.

I believe they will fit, and I think you will need spacers.
You will need to check the offset.

Default Nice car

Nice Car. You have the rear wiper on it too. That is rare.

Here is a pic of my car with 993 replica wheels.

The Carrera 2 logo on the engine lid seems to be in a strange location.

Welcome to the club.

Heh. 'West Germany'
Sorry -- way, way ot.

Wonder what s/n was the last "West Germany"-made, or which was the first "Germany"-made?

There's an Excellence article, or two, for the future: Last 964 from the West, or, Germany's First 964.

I got my white lights from PAP Parts but I think you can find on ebay etc.

$10k sound like a steal to me especially if the car has no issues.

I have been considering tinting my windows...can you take a pic with all the windows up and post it?

I think you should keep the original wheels; they look good, I will never understand why they are so unloved.

Ok I still waiting for car that arrive I bought it without seem it in person, just some pics 4 phone calls and call to local mechanice shop that did last maintanence in car!! it sounds like crazzy !!but I did tthat !!I guess took big chance --- I didn;t check carfax for acciedents, or anything that why i'm scare to get a lemon!!
I really don't like the 16 wheels originals, Like i said I had these porsche original 18 twist with pirelli rosso free, So I will like to put them on maintly because I got the free as gift , but worry about how much stress will put in car parts, and how will change driving? not idel if they will look better or worst---maybe will be best to sale them and get some 17 , I will like to change the clear lights and upgrade to alpine cd stereo kind of black with green bottons, and some nice wheels factory porsche, maybe some bLACK MATS WITH TARGA OR PORSCHE LLOG IN WHITE,
I was thinking maybe for wheels get cups 1 and paint them black maybe will looks good white car blck rims and targa top black ! I will like to see how a car llike mine will look with black or red rims, I'm not sure I don't want to cheap the car just want to make it look modern and more agressive!!
---PLEASE WHAT MEAN LAST WEST GERMANY CAR OR WEST GERMANY CAR IST THAT SOMETHING BAD ??reply please

Relax, you have too much pent up emotion over this purchase,
has nothing to do with the car or how it was built.

when the Berlin wall came down and Germany was reunited as one country instead of West and East Germany.

after that the build tag just said Germany instead of West Germany.

my 1990 C2 was built December 6, 1989 and has the same West Germany build tag.
