Looking at the map today & zooming in; I had about 4.5 inches from Colchester to Eastleigh! My opinion: the focal bullseye is quite close to Staines/Egham. This is close to M3, M25, A316, M4, A30, Heathrow if you're coming from afar.
Egham has a large Maranelleo outfit who sell some sort of cars; the only pub with large car park is approx 5 miles south on the A30, dammed if I can recall the name or if bacon butties will mach Raymond's. The A30 has some hilly spots for a lively drive after. Maybe closer to many than Aylsebury, based on the locations.
Where the place?
When the day (Kevin Warmfuzzies should have 1st go.)
A30,must be the Windmill,
We (TEAM LANGOUSTINE) have a regular monthly meet at The Bird in Hand on the A4 between Twyford and Maidenhead in Berkshire, massive car park good food, we meet up with fellow Lemanners 3rd sun each month to keep in touch through the year, attracts all types of cars, so would be a good venue for 964s
I am in Wokingham Berkshire so add to the map please.
I would love to, but don't know how. If someone could explain how in laymans terms. When you click the Insert Image icon it asks for the URL of the image. What is this and where do you get it from? We have a Windows photo gallery full of images, each one has a number but it is not a URL number. Sorry for being thick.
Reference an existing image somewhere on the internet
The "Manage Attachments" button below the text box where you write your posts is used to upload images from your computer to the Rennlist site.
If you have images on the internet somewhere (like your personal web-site, a photo gallery site, etc) then you can use the insert image button above the text input area (looks like a globe with a chain "link" in front of it). Then you enter the URL of the image you want to show up in the post. A URL is a Universal Resource Locator and is the string that you find in the location bar at the top of your browser.
Sounds like you'd be best served with the Manage Attachments button. Be aware that Rennlist has a size limit on images. So, you'll have to resize your images with some kind of photo manipulation software. Something in the 1024x768 or 800x600 range should be fine.
So shall we say the Windmill on the A30 then for the meet? Sorry for the delays in organising anything, but work is **** and I've been wondering what the hell to do with my life at the moment....
If anyone knows of a pub/cafe etc and wants to forward the details to me so I could phone the proprietor and make any arrangements that would be great.
I just noticed on the map that you have markers in different parts of the world. Does this imply that some have autos that can drive accross water? Hum...?
Or maybe they can fly ?
I'll see in my owners manual, I may have missed something. A U-Porsche as in u-boat.
Wish I could attend though even if you guys drive on the wrong side of the road

Reason: typo
Well the neat thing about that is, take a break somewhere, missing your fix for P-Car buddies, hey presto, you can now see where folks are and meet them in person, now that may not be the wisest deal out there, but it sure as hell makes life a little more adventurerous.
