Default antenna and booster- need help fast!!!

So I got part # 964 645 263 00 to replace my antenna that I screwed but good last year. The only problem is there is a connector on both end and only one side has a visible connection- the radio side. Anyone have ideas? I tried to trace it back, but the back side of the wire just goes to the booster, and the connections don't match.

Same here Hawk, had to split the booster box, cut off the plug at one end and solder it to the board (or at least my local ICE shop did)

WTF- so why do they sell the part that way then? I don't have time for that crap, #1, and don't have small enough hands to get in there, #2.

geez- I got the dash apart, and I can see the booster, but no idea how the booster comes off the mount. I just don't have time for this crap!!!!

And there's very little room to move in there. no extra wire at all.

Default hmmmmm

so my brainy idea is to undo the connection on the radio plug side of the world, and put that on the old wire. Should have easier than trying to get the booter out and solder it

From memory, the box is held on by one screw.

I removed mine by taking the clock out as well as removing the dash top

Is this for AM or FM radio?

I have FM but no AM reception, I guess i need to pull the clock (how?) and see if the aerial cable is connected to the booster...

Yeah, I got FM back but no AM. The reception is still marginal at best, and I'll probably resolder at the box rather than my temp solder at the split.
