Default Wrong gas/petrol

Hi all,
On Friday I noticed my C4 was down on power and seemed to be struggling, and it turns out the wife filled up with regular petrol istead of premium!

I think regular is 92ron here, and premium is 95ron.

Before I syphon the petrol into a couple of jerry cans, is there an "octane boost" product I can just slosh into the tank?

cheers
AB

I don't believe that it will harm the car, just take it easy on the throttle... Someone else will probably chime in to verify.

just put some premium in it as it gets lower and it will mix raising the octane. I have run regular before with no real issues except a slight loss of power.

You can add some octane booster if you're really worried, this will be bring it up to 95, otherwise as suggested go easy until you refill it.

link for a nulon product

octane booster, to satisfy any worries.

[also thinking "Nulons" would make a GREAT alien race name in Star Trek...] "We know the Nulons only use their octane booster under emergency conditions -- this could be serious. Sulu, bring us to Yellow Alert."

I don't know availability where you are, but several local stations sell 100 octane race fuel. I would think you could just go there and top off.

Nothing good can come from taking this advice. Trust me.
