For my buying my 964 was a once in a lifetime achievement
I love the model of my car, love the color, love the interior etc.
The 911 is my favorite car and it was so for as long as I can remember
For me the only other Porsche that I would consider having is a 993 (a C2 of similar color and characteristics) and that, taking into account the prices here of a good 993 it´s not going to happen.

So my philosophy is:

keep the car for as long as I can
Enjoy it as much as possible
keep it as original as it´s possible (no mods at all, only good maintenance)
keep it beautiful
keep it running perfect

I think many of you share a similar way of thinking, I would like to know

+1. I even stored mine for 8 years whilst it was v. impractical to use it... just couldn't sell her.

I think I will be keeping mine, until I pop my clogs, for two good reasons:

1. I cannot think of any other Porsche that would reward me any more than my 964 does already. For me, the 964 is the last true 911 ( waits for hecking from the C2 crowd ). 993 and on are too...jelly molded?

2. I have spent so much on it already that it would be madness to sell it now And I intend on spending more to get it just right.
