Pelican - poor quality and service - is this usual?

It appears that the OP may have been a bit hasty in posting a complaint about the service on a public forum such as RL before going through the usual returns process.
Wayne/Pelican have always provided stellar service so I think this matter seems to have been resolved and this thread is therefore closed.
