Default Orlando Wrenching party part Deux The Pictures

We had our second wrenching get together this month at Wachuko (Jaime) house and had 8 Rennlisters show up this time. The gang spent most of the day working on replacing the plug wires in Rons 993. They were still working on them when I left this afternoon. Mara , Jaime wife cooked us up a top notch lunch including my favorite Flan for desert A big thanks to Mara
We had 964,993,911SC and 996TT's in attendance.
The 911SC wanna be RS clone is Jaime's project car. It needs a bit more 200mph tape on it before it road worthy

Looks like you guys had fun! Great to see.

Jaime's project car is the epitome of what 911's are all about -- cant wait to see it completed!!

I missed you guys, wish I could have been there. Maybe I'll have the engine back in the 964 for the next one. Thanks Jaime for the location. Did David's wife bring the 930 to have the e-brake checked?

Jim... thanks for the pictures... looks like it was a great day.

Lisa woke up with vertigo this morning and spent the morning resting... with the hopes of maybe getting over to see you guys in the afternoon... sadly that didn't work out.

She really wanted to meet you all and was looking forward to it. Let us all know when you are planning another little get together and we'll make another try at making it work out.

Thanks again for your kind offer(s) of the invite as well as being able to take a quick look at the car for us... looking forward to meeting you all at some point.

David

Thanks for the pictures Jim, we did have a great time and it was really nice meeting everyone. Ron's car was looking and sounding nice after he pulled it off the rack. Looks like new wires and plugs for me next! Thanks to Jaime and his wife for the hospitality. Ron the veno was spectacular, Justin thanks for the tips and tricks and the help with measuring the rotors. Chet it was a great time and good conversation with you and your wife. C-ya guys next time.

Thank you all for attending. We had a great time.

Jim please say thank you to Paula for the desert... wow, those Coconut Smooches (Besitos de coco) were awesome, and a hit with Mara and the children... very good!

Justin, we finished without issues and everyone was able to head out in their own cars instead of rentals, lol.

After we finished with Ron's car we starte to look at Chris car (the.pun). Seems he will need a new plug wire set... sooooo, we have more projects for future GTG.

We also have to finish with the short shift kit install for Ron. So get those bushings!

Thank you all again for attending we really enjoyed having all of you over.

A few comments from Mara: she says that I can do this anytime since it made me clean up the mess in the garage...

Fred I left the stainless pipe from Ron on my front porch incase I am not home and you come to get it.

PorscheDavid if you are in the Altamonte area some weekend and want to stop over at my house we can put the car on the lift and take a look at the wheel. Maybe we can swap Turbos for test rides

Chet this was my 230SL I sold last year
