Looks like a 993 engine....basically nothing to see but the i/c and i/c shroud. I'll post pics of the airbox later...that's kind of cool.

Like I said, all you really see when you pop the rear deck is a 993TT engine. Big challenge was to build a deck lid that sealed against the i/c shroud rubber as the i/c is cooled by air drawn through it by the engine fan. The one thing I did do was make sure the airbox stayed as cool as possible by applying cold heat shield material that I got from one of my buddies from an IRL team.

forgot to add that the airbox is already custom to get it to "fit" in the engine compartment...

That's what I want to be when I grow up-

Is there a write up on this transformation? Or do I have to wait for the magazine?!

That looks stunning ! I love the rear shot, the colour coded panel between the lights looks great, as does the ducktail. Great work.

Was your rear end and the Black Widow's done by the same shop?

Similar timing on 2 smokin' RS look cars!

Saw this car at VCR today--------Jeez, it is Da Bomb!
Rear fenders flared? What type?
Couple of observations not visible in the pics above:
1) Duck tail grill is nicely finished/very utilitarian look (in a good way)
2)That crinkle finish on the ruf wheels look unreal in person.

Way to do it!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk w/you as I was not around my car. The rear flares are +2 inches. Hard to tell, but its flared quite a bit to fit the 295s. I can actually run a 12 inch rim and probably a 305 if needed.

Dont know if you noticed, but finished the aluminum roll cage and intercooler shield in same finish as the wheels. And yes, I agree it looks very cool in person.

Thanks for the kind words.

Forgot to add that the duck tail grill material was also used in the front brake ducts.
