Question Fuel Mileage 91 C4?

A post on the recent daily driver thread has me thinking...

I am getting 13 MPG (lots of stop and go) in the city, topping out at 24 MPG highway.

Others mentioned 18-28...

What are you all getting?

I have a Steve Wong chip, otherwise stock.

Stop & go traffic - 18mpg, highway - 25-26mpg.

I suspect your mileage will depend a lot of the amount of idling you do stopped in traffic and how aggressively you accelerate. In my case, I commute to work about 25 miles each way, 8 are highway and the rest are back roads with light traffic (35mph). My average tank gives me a mileage of 20mpg.

I can't tell you mpg.

All town / short journeys : about 220 miles per tank.
Long journey / motorway : about 380 miles per tank.

Consistent 21-22 MPG, 75% freeway / 25% city driving, and I definitely don't baby it.

Hi Tom. Must be Portland, I'm getting exactly the same MPG as you. 13 around town with plenty of 'spirited' driving, and 24 on the freeway at 75 mph.

How are you guys measuring your milage? Just basing it off of the amount of gas you put in, off of the gauge?

I get 16 - 18 around town and mine is a TIP. I get about the same on the TT also as long as I keep out of the turbos.

Who on God's green earth gives a rip about MPG? If you are getting in the 20's......DRIVE FASTER

I have absolutely no clue what I am getting, I fill it when it's 1/2 full and close my eyes when face the gas pump to avoid seeing the cost,

Comment above nothwithstanding, I used to get 21-22mpg on a (then) 100 mile 99% freeway roundtrip commute with some stop-and-go and the rest at 70-75.

Oh, and this way always oxygenated gas, so there's a 10% hit right there.

I get about 20mpg. The other day it cost me $75 to fill the car up and it wasn't even full. I idle it in the morning to warm it up a bit before I head into work which is a 32 mile drive one way.
