Default Cigarette lighter fixing

Seems like my car had a new one fitted at some stage, but not to the electrical connection!!!!!, I pulled the lighter out and the whole lot came out, how should it be held in place,I need it for my sat nav.
Its got a part no. on the inner body part 964.652.319.00 and has a black crackly finish on the edge lip.

There should be a connector nearly behind it that has the shape of an inverted T for the connectors. It has a small light bulb on it that lights up the "hole" so you can get the lighter back in at night...

You will want to pull your radio to get your hand in there to make the connection. Don't waste a perfectly good hour trying without doing that... (btdt.)

I have wasted that hour!!!!! I will try and get the radio out..What holds the outer part into the dash, as my lighter part just pulls the whole lot out?

The outer bezel should have some pretty stout tabs that hold it in.
