Default Torque Specifications - Brake Callipers & Lug Nuts

We're moving along with the brake job mentioned in our previous thread. Want to make sure we use the right torque specs for the brake callipers - we see from multiple comments on the site that the book to have is "Without Guesswork" - read about it last night - ordered it online last night!

In the meantime while we await it's arrival, could someone else who has the info provide us with the proper torque specs for:

Calliper bolts and
Lug nuts

Assistance is always appreciated! And we already know by now everyone wants pics -- there will be pics posted once the job is completed!

Default Duplication

Sorry to all - I thought in the earlier version that got posted that I was only doing a review -- didn't mean to duplicate this post!

Default Loctite - to use or not to use

Thanks very much Rob for the speedy reply.

One more question - does anyone use loctite on the calipers bolts - and if so, what strength (colour)?

I don't use any thread locker on the caliper bolts. I use copper anti-seize. The reason for using the anti-seize is that they had lubricant on them when I removed them so I copied what the factory did.

Note: I use the same on the lug nuts too.

Does copper grease require a "wet" torque setting? I have never been too clear on that...

I use the posted torques. I'm not sure if they should be altered or not. I've never had a problem.

Definitely dont use loctite on the caliper bolts or you'll never get them out again. I also use a touch of anti seize on the bolts.
