Default Hourly wrench rates

What's the going hourly rate for P-Car service in your area?

No independents locally, the dealer is $125/hr

While in for a LSD, track inspection and some other things I paid $235 for the oil change

I'm between Seattle and Vancouver

I don't know in VA. Yours sounds right.

I don't think I'd be able to afford my red if I didn't do my own wrenching... absent every-other week visits to the blood bank.
But now, with Rennlist, many things are open to me.
Hundreds saved each year. I think I'll stick around...

$90 is common for independents around here (there are many), while $100 - $125 is common for the Dealers in the area, of which there are 6-8 in a 230 mile radius or so.

Are you in Bellingham?

Yep; know of a good mechanic?

The dealer failed my track inspection for having 'bald tires'. They were Kuhmo Victoracer's.....they're supposed to look like that!!

Hey Allan,

Although I know we are not convenient, we are still $75/hr and no sales taxes in OR,...

Try Bristow's Automotive in Tacoma. Pete Bristow is a good tech, and I think his hourly rate is quite a bit lower than Larson. He's taken very good care of my '90 C2.

Good luck!

Closest Porsche dealer to me is 250km away so I don’t go there but our closest Toyota dealer is at $100 per hour (about $93 US)
