I suspect my oil sender o ring is leaking when the car is under heavy load so have bought the o ring and the air box rubber mounts (I know they are bound to break when I undo them) so will be using Garrett's DIY to do the fix this weekend.

1) reinstall stock MAF sensor/airbox and chip (cuz' I'm tired of that aftermarket film MAF/K&N cone and chip! Needing a system adaptation after every battery unplug -- Fah! [spitting on ground])

2)tranny fluid swap w/ nice, clean, (stinky) Mobil Delvac 75-90... mmmm...

3) brake flush ATE gold

4) buy lawn mower & shed

5) order Toyo RA-1's, PFC 97 pads, G-force shoes, (gotta find a helmet shop nearby....)

Glance at it sitting for months now in the back yard as I walk to the garage to hop in the C4S around 6am to get out to the shop. It truly IS the forgotten/unwanted car now. But when/where will I ever come up with another straight $18K RSA? So it sits.

I think I will wash it this weekend - Oh that's right it was stolen back in January, and I live in Atlanta where we are still on watering bans! Guess I will just visit the club race at Road Atlanta and search the internet for a replacement.

Saturday: bike ride then a tennis match. Kid's away at the grandparents.

Finished the following projects today:

brake cool kit
lightweight battery and mount
turbo tie rods
solid tranny mounts (thanks Anthony!)

I need to tweak the front tow one more time and then drive!

Sunday: working.

The heavens have smiled on me this weekend as I am off (for once) PLUS my 4 year old son has 2 birthday parties to go to this weekend so I will have both Saturday and Sunday afternoons free.

This will give me time to:

finish replacing the studs holding the accelerator pedal (one sheared off so I am replacing both)
lubricate the pedal cluster
re-install the pedal board
re-install the floor boards
re-install the TechArt splitter (removed for paint chip repairs)
paint my rear tow-hook (996 version)
clear coat my recent rust repair paint job

That is is for this weekend. If I get more time, the rest of my job list is here.

Wash it, drive it Saturday AM, Sunday repeat, Monday get the word out that she is for sale and needs to find a good home. I hate Mondays!!

Oh yeah - Finish the granite surround around the fireplace, fix the bi-pass doors in extra room, finish up trim next to Sliding glass doors awhile back. Wash the truck, finish going through tools to go into garage sale. I am moving in about a month, so this house has to be done and in order, ready to rent.

Looking forward to a coast to coast road trip with Carrera in tow if she isn't sold by then.

Fix the door lock problem (again) - kept unlocking after 2 seconds - cable under pass seat was pinched by the seat track and shorting out. easy fix, for now, - splicing in the future when i remove the seat. Tied the cable out of the way. Reseated the connector to the alarm module as well after cleaning it.

problem solved....
ordered a bunch of stuff.... Rennline tow hook, new front belly pan, Front Cup tow hook, Carrera Cup small roundel with #12, screws, bolts, new radio antenna cable.
found internal Electrical kill switch pull (motorsports) - FVD waiting to order that one till next week and i finish my other projects.
Found and was gifted an antenna booster (thanks David!)

looking at Fikse's wheels as next upgrade.....

Shipping out my 356 disc brakes to a new owner.

not much else really

Hey cool thing to restart the Folley, Ilko. I've been slacking because my photography has taken a front seat to the Porsche. I intend to rectify that soon. I have projects that need to be complete before June.

This weekend, however:
Wash the fleet; Ford, Pontiac, then Porsche.
While my wife is off at the museum for Body Worlds exhibit, try to take some pictures of my daughter and see if all my crap works when it's supposed to
Take my daughter to the children's museum- I'm going to take the P-car today. It needs a good driving.
Meet Wife and MIL for dinner, then drive back home.
Photography seminar tomorrow. Unfortunately, I doubt I can get all my gear into the P, so I may have to take the Ford. Maybe I'll try to load her up and see how cramped I am.

There Jim, I at least posted, now GET OFF MY BACK

Sat: Sort out trigger issue on HID's fitted to Peugoet some time ago, before it rains this afternoon. Wash Impreza - rain might loosen dirt - always dirty due to commuting through lanes. Pub - beer and bambi casserole

Sun: Painkillers and bacon rolls. Check 964 starts and if not put on charge ready for MOT, service brakes etc on Monday..... can't think much further ahead

Monday morning - drive 964 for first time since .... some time ago
