'Copy that.
re your 'as-delivered' picture: (A little stream-wading, anyone? Or perhaps a little rally tussling?)

...and your second, ROW-adjusted picture:

edit:
Ilk - Good TGIII reference... bad movie, but good line.

The low end of Carrera RS should be considered the lowest height used on any 964 unless 993RS/Evo uprights are used
front 120mm(114 w/ 993 RS/Evo uprights)
rear 218(using the control arm datum,230 using the control arm side datum)

rear needs to be set after front for proper rake

Thx for the input Bill.
Plan to lower the car to RS height + 5mm = 130 mm
Will post pictures soon.

I don't think these cars were lowered any more as I don't think you can successfully lower the car any more without extensive modifications beyond RS spec.

I agree, at least by the time you get to the RS-NGT any further lowering is basically the same as running the car with no suspension anymore, these cars were (I think) about as slammed as could be.

Thanks!

The backdrop for the black C2 was nice indeed: looking from Furka pass into the Rhone valley in October 2006.

The C2 was a great mountain animal, here close to the top of Stelvio pass:

Nice shot.

I drove this many years ago in a V12 Jag coming down the mountain. Heated the brakes so bad the grease from the bearings boiled and spilled onto the rotors. It was a great experience until we lost brakes. The shop at the base was kind enough to fix it on the spot as we lunched nearby, might have even been the same place in your photo. Wish we had roads like this here.

I'll let you lead. Anything like Oak Tree at VIR or tighter? Don't think I ever encountered a turn that made me slow down to 5MPH. LOL.

Looking forward to it. Although I hope we won't see this in the turn.

edit-
"Wish we had roads like this here."...
Oh, Cobalt -- we have a few such roads tucked into our Rockies...

We will be going through this turn but in the opposite direction so we should be able to spot the nice officer early on Looking at the route, there will be a couple of Oak Trees along the way.
