Default 36mm Crows Foot Wrench

I am taking the 964`s engine out this coming weekend. Do I need a 36mm crows foot wrench? Or can I get round the oil line unions another way?

Thank you.

I bought a set of THESE. They worked great. Has the 32 and the 36. You will need both. 32 as the backup wrench, and the 36 to remove the nut.

Crows foot wrenches are not "required" but can be handy. I used a set of wrenches from Pelican #PEL-TOL-P242 to remove my engine the first time. See http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...TOLtol_pg5.htm

Later, I purchased a cheap set crows foot wrenches from Amazon. They turned out to be handy when I needed to remove the oil pressure sensor which required a 24mm crows foot.

No affiliation to either above.

I also did not use crow's foot wrenches when breaking the oil lines for my 964 engine drop. One 32 and one 36mm wrench, both of which were pretty long, and they did the trick.

I used 2 *very* large Crescent-style wrenches for these - and have subsequently used them for a lot of other things without issue. I have yet to have them round off a nut/bolt.

That’s great guys, thank you.

I have picked up a 32mm and 36mm open ended spanners (wrenches) today. The tool shop wanted £65.00 ($120.00) for the 36mm crows foot wrench alone!!! The spanners were £9.00 ($18.00) each.

Looking forward to the Easter weekend now so I can get on and start.
