Today I went to a Tire repair shop because I have a small nail in the front driver side tire.
One of the nuts was too strongly attached to the bolt and so I asked them to stop trying for fear of breaking the bolt.
Is there a way to solve this without breaking the bolt? and subsequently changing the wheel bolt.

A little heat sometimes works miracles, but I have never had a problem with a wheel nut and don't have any experience with that connection.
Alumium thermal expansion is almost double that of steel, so an aluminum nut on a steel stud should loosen with heat. Watch out - aluminum should never be heated above the temperature of boiling water. If a water droplet sizzles even a little, you have it too hot and the aluminum nut will start to anneal (soften and weaken permanently). With steel you are safe until you see a dull red glow, and then you are just a little too hot. It takes time to do the damage, so as long as you are careful, and back off on the heat quickly, you will do no harm.
