When my 964 is warm, oil pressure at idle (800 rpm) is around half way between 1 and 2 (1,5 bar)
I use a 5w-40 fully synthetic oil (from an big argentinian brand recommended by Porsche)
We are in the last days of a hot and humid summer
My car has 150.000 kms (around 95000 miles)

Is this oil pressure level good enough?
should I start saving for a rebuild?
should I change oil type?

Normal according to my experience. A small blip on the accelarator and you reach 3 to 4 and later 5. In that temperature I would say it is totally okey.
I also use 5-50 Mobil 1.
