Default (False) Alarm

Three times over the last two weeks, the alarm has gone off - of course in the middle of the nite.

Arms as it should when I lock the door. Light blinks in the ****. Turns off when the key is used to unlock, does not start again when I re-lock.
Any thoughts?

I had somewhat the same problem, it turned out to be the light in the trunk(front compartment) would ground out and turn the light on, the alarm system thinking the lid was being opened. It can be either of the 3 light, trunk, engine or glove compartment. In my case someone had put the whole light fixture in backwards, and it caused me all kinds of strange problems, like low battery and alarm going off at different times.

That may just be it.
I've had some of the issues you mention as well. I thought them to be random and unrelated - until now.
Thx. Gotta love R-list.

I had an intermitten alarm condition while the car was parked which was more prevalent on windy days, turned out to be a dangling green wire behind the dash that shorted to ground due to the wind somehow finding its way into the cabin and jostling it.

Hope this might help

Mine turned out to be a door lock actuator adjustment
