HI all,
A friend just bought a 1989 Speedster. He has looked up the trim codes but has not found one for 'speedster'. Carfax is clean and he feels good about it but asked me to assist him with some of my forums that I'm on. Can anyone assist? I'm advocating for him to join Rennlist. Thanks!!

There has never been a code means Speedster. Your codes (in ebay) means Catalyst, leather steering wheel, radio Reno SQR 46, short shift, no rear seats but "space for things" (dont know the english word), tempostat, alarm, ac. Thats a lot at a Speedster. But Speedster wasnt between other cars in the row in the production, so you dont have a serial no (it means only USA Carrera Convert.) or something else to check.
Hope i could help you
Best regards

These pictures were taken on the Mille Miglia 2010.....
The white one we got from Ray Joseph in March for a friend of us and the silver one is ours since 2005. In the past 5 years we drove it once to the Showtime in Interlaken (Suisse), and three times to the Mille Miglia.
If you want more photos just tell me.

Dino,
i believe to know the seller of the red Speedys (the middle one stays at him until now, he sometimes is here in rennlist) and of the yellow one, havnt you bought it too? Where are this 3 cars now? I know your silver one and the white one too, and i believe, we live next together (probably you know my black 964 Speedster?). May i join you at Mille Miglia 2011?
Best regards
Frank

Sure you can join us. Maybe aother two Speedster friends will also go with us....
The middle one isn´t such a good car, I think there was no service book with it. This was the reason why I only bought the two... The yellow one I bought for a friend he owns it now!!
You know the two cars (silver ,white) ? From where?

Dino,
Before you go posting inaccurate information about my car, let's get this straight. You never saw any of my 3 speedsters when I had them in the US. I sold two to your father and he never did see my third car. It has the lowest mileage of the 3 and is in the best condition of the 3 - that is why I kept it. Furthermore, it has every single book, record and window sticker since new.

Wrong - he did not see it and the pictures you are posting were ones that I took, not your father. Also, speaking of mileage - vin #WP0CB2961RS465074
had 15,900 on it when I sold it, not under 15k as you posted. If you continue to post inaccurate and false information about my car, I will post detailed and accurate condition on both cars that your father Wolfdieter bought.

Hey there...
I'm thinking of getting rid of my 993 C4S for a 964 Speedster. Can any of you wise 964 gentlemen tell me what the curb weight of the 964 Speedster is? Also, I hear it's quite easy to shed further weight on these 964 Speedsters, is that so? If so, where are the areas that commonly are able to go on a diet? Shedding weight on the 993 is not so easy, so any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
