They're probably the original 16" Cups. If they have the wheel size and offset either side of the valve they should be original Porsche wheels.

16" wheels were standard fitment on 964s built in 89, 90 & 91 but were usually 'Design 90s'. I believe 16" cups were meant to be a 944 wheel. 17inch wheels came from 1991 onwards but many are now fitted to earlier cars too.

There is a detailed Porsche wheel size chart on here...

Both sites added to favorites. Thank you.
That was extremely helpful.
I found it interesting that the 964 and 968 shared wheels.

My '93 C2 came with 16" rims as standard, 6J on the front and 8J on the rear. From what i was lead to believe the 16" was standard on the C2, the 17" was an optional extra. In fact when i purchased the car I contacted the original dealership from which it came and they confirmed the spec of the car as it was bought back then in '93. As it happened the only optional extra in my case was sports seats.

The Part No's from the original wheels are:
Front 944.362.112.00
Rear 944.362.116.00

Since my ownership I've replaced with 996 17" rims 7J front and 9J rear

Hello: I have a 92 C2 in Polar Silver, same twist rims, but in 18"--but (OT) what I wanted to ask was where in N. Wales you live? I have a soft spot for the place: I lived in Bangor and Tregarth as a grad student in the good old days. Loved it . . .
