Cargraphics is where I got the pic and they have it under their 964 offerings for wheels in 18 and 19 inch....Don't think they make a 17....

He might be, but he can drive. I had the privilege/luck of getting an "exhibition" ride in his Ascona Bi400 group4 rally car on of the Rally Acropolis special stages in Greece back in 1981 or 1982 - cannot remember exactly. I was an arrogant young man then who thought I could drive - and after 3 hrs (or was it 5 mins??) in the Opel with him at the wheel, I was put in my place. I am not sure if I wet myself as he was charging (sideways, of course) down a narrow gravel mountain road with a 200 foot drop on the right or whether I spilled my coffee on my trousers afterwards ...
I'll never forget that - the man is a smooth master.

Walter Röhrl may be one of the best drivers around. If you ever saw his drive in an old ST on a classic rally in Germany (search on you tube under Koln Ahrweiler), you will have no doubts.

I once saw him pull away in a 356 Carrera 2 during a race in France, part of Tour Auto. Among the competitors was a 500 hp Corvette and other big cube cars...

I saw the car in some article... It had orange mag wheels... Not my style but if you were Walter you could get away with anything you want.....

I have spent the entire week in the 964 RS. It never gets old. I love it..
