Default 1990 Carrera Cab - Oak Green with mahogany top and beige leather

A friend's 1990 C2 Cabriolet in Oak Green metallic with mahogany top and beige supple leather. I've never seen another with this color combination.

There was a light metallic green, I believe called "Ice Green" that Porsche used on 911's in the late '70's.
Has anyone seen it in on a 964? It was one of my favorite colors back then.

I think my car is called a "Diamond Blue" but it looks like a purple tint to me. At night the car looks silver.

Great cars! I love some of these off-the-wall colors

Here's the current incarnation of my Maritime Blue 1991 C2, with Cashmere interior and seats with blue piping

After starting this thread nearly 7 years ago with my Tahoe Blue car I am now the proud owner of another 964 in a rare colour, Pearl White.

This seams to be a very unusual colour and I'd like to find out more about it, I know a few 944 turbos came in this colour but I have never seen a 964 in it.

At first I feared this was not the original colour but I'm now confident that it is, for example the original build sticker under the hood is stuck over the Pearl White.

From what I found out so far is that it started out in the factory as Grand Prix White but at some point was pulled and given the Pearl White finish, one of the previous owners had this confirmed be Porsche in the UK.

Anybody else know anything more about Pearl White 964's??

Very cool.

I am assuming this was special order. The only other cars I know of in this color from that time period were a 1995 928GTS and two 1994 964 turbo S flachbau's.

I friend once owned one of the two flachbau's and it was very unique car and great color with lots of pearl. They used mica in the paint to make it glisten AFAIK. Very hard color to repair so be careful.

Definitely a car to hold on to.

Agree, that's a beautiful color. Does it have the paint code sticker in the frunk? Should be L947 Perlmutt Weiss.

YaHoo, your new ride belongs in this thread too!

I have seen that colour in person and it is very nice.

It was on a dealer's lot in North Vancouver about 5 or 6 years ago.

A buddy of mine was looking to buy either an air-cooled or a 996.

I was telling him to get the green 964 but he went with a blue 996 instead.
