If no bleeder screw is available, but someone has a bolt with some washers, you can undo the lower feed line to the solenoid block (the bolt/line at the bottom front of the block) and use a bolt with washers to seal off that line without having to crush any lines.

Um...is Kenny the anomaly or is his car?

This all sounds a little flakey . The C4 box has a basic mechanical front/rear drive ( 31%/69% ) which cannot be turned off !
The control ECU uses front/ rear wheel speed , acceleration sensor signals etc to modify the front / rear drive ratio using the front drive clutch / gear set .
The rear differential also has a clutch pack to help with overall handling .

A broken 964 C4 system does not change the car into a C2 !!

There is a danger that the handling can be badly upset by this problem . Lets see what happens !!

"Handling" will only be different in that the inside rear wheel, or inside front wheel that's unloaded during turning while accelerating in slow corners (2nd and maybe 3rd gear corners) will spin freely - he'll just be slower because the power won't get to the ground if the clutch packs can't be activated to route power to a tire with traction. Other than that, there's no difference in "handling" and certainly not something I'd say is dangerous as long as he has a rev-limiter to prevent the revs from going up too high when the tires are slipping under these conditions that would otherwise be prevented if the PDAS were functioning. In that case, the only danger is throwing a rod bolt if he's not watching the revs because they will go up fast with the wheels spinning.

My PDAS controller has been fried since I purchased my car. I don't have ABS but the mechanical 4-wheel drive certainly functions. I've also noticed, as garrett376 mentioned, that on tight corners the inside rear wheel will spin freely.

A shot was taken at the C4 , in good humor ,
a shot was returned at the C2 , in good humor .
No big deal .

Thanks everyone for the help. I ended up just disconnecting the plug on the solenoid block and running like that. No leaks. No AWD, no Limited Slip and no ABS. Frankly I LOVE IT w/o the ABS, and HATE IT without the limited slip. The AWD actually gave me a helluva jump at 11. Anyways, I got to drive and actually was the last one on the track. Just as I saw the checkered by gas light went on. I had been playing with a 993 C4S for almost an HOUR of track time (two run groups back to back w/o stopping)

Glad this was my 964's last day of being on track, now it's on to the boxster.

I have had a terrible time with my ABS on the track, and a terrible time with the slave cylinders, but I have to say, the 964 is just a wonderful car anyways, I felt a little sad as I drove around the last time by myself w/o anyone else on the track, it was a fitting last lap for a really killer car.

Thanks again guys!
