If it's confusing, I apologise, but I've just become aware of what must be a quite rare animal in the form of one of the elusive 12 non-Celebration models from the planned 911 cars built in 1992. Whereas the official Celebration cars were offered only in Viola or Polar Silver, the elusive 12 cars remaining after the 899 were shipped were offered in other colours, albeit without the numbered plaque.

The one in question is a RHD model in Guards Red with a linen leather interior. Currently on sale at Hillcrest Performance in Henley-on-Thames for £21,995. It has some paintwork problems - an angry wife scratched it pretty bad - but the dealer is, apparently, willing to negotiate.
