Default Retorqueing 964 headstuds question

Hi all,
I have read that retorquing 964 headstuds is a no-no, however, I have read there are people out there that does do it and have gotten away with not breaking the studs. My question is that whenever we come in for a reseal or top end rebuild, must we replace the the headstuds as well?. Of those who has top end works done, how many did replace the their head studs?. Andy

I've redone one of my engines 3 times for various reasons which included removal and re-torquing of the heads each time. No issues. I am of the camp that if the stud is not broken, there's nothing to fix!
