Remember the '94 964 Tip for sale at RUF? It is mine!
I am back in the 964 club. Today I traded my '06 Cayenne S Titanium for a '94 964 tip that was for sale at RUF. RUF services my 993 and I know and respect these guys. I decided to "downsize" as my Cayenne was depreciating fast and was much too big for my daily needs. Why not drive a 911 everyday?
This car is a two owner car from CA and TX and is absolutely mint. I need the tip for daily use and realize that it is very capable, but the driver needs to learn how to use it.
My car has 18" RUF wheels. These have been my favorite wheels for a 911 for a long time. And this car has big red brakes from a 993 turbo. Very nice looking and stopping.
Funny thing, I had this car in the past ('92 C2 5 speed) and my father bought it from me. I drove it recently and regretted selling it - but am happy he has enjoyed it the last 3 years. Now I have it's cousin.

I now have two of Porsche's best cars! Lucky me!
I look forward to being a part of this board.

Excellent choice Patrick. I also considered the same car from Ruf and it was not compelling enough for me to pick up another, since it would end up in storage.
Very nice ride and keep us posted on your developments.

Steve, yes it was there for the last two weeks. A guy from Amarillo traded it for another RUF car. He was **** to say the least. You and I met at one of the local Starbucks meets. I had just bought my 993.

Wow Patrick, nice car. I can't even keep up with all the cars you've had in the last couple of years. The 993 Targa, a Mercedes, an M5, a 997, Cayenne, another 993....what am I forgetting? I am jealous!! Congrats.

Yep, looking forward to having another 964 at these. I was just a little out numbered by the 993's

Steve T, thanks for the offer! I hope the cup 2s are working out ok.
Greg, YES! I am definitely going to the track with this car. See you in the spring if not sooner.
Chris, yes I have a problem ... I love cars. My wife says better to change cars than wifes. (Married 16 years.)
Steve C. Ready for the next coffee event! I want to see your C2 too. GR is my fav color.

I had RUF perform a leakdown/compression test on the car prior to purchase. 85k miles, here are the results:
1 4% 165
2 4% 165
3 2% 170
4 3% 160
5 2% 160
6 4% 165
I am pleased!
First owner for 10 years from Laguna Nigel, CA and appears to have had the service done at Hergesheimer. Second owner for 4 years serviced the car at RUF. This is the first 911 that I have purchased where the car needs nothing. Mods may include remote for unlocking/locking, headlight upgrade, and maybe some more exhaust noise. So far, the shocks/springs provide a comfy ride for my daily driving needs, even with 18s. I worry that if I lower the car that I will compromise the ride.
