Default RS Carpet install

After spending literally 3 hours trying to figure out what went where, the dry install of the appbiz RS kit has started.

The kit is well made, but oh my, come one APPBIZ, you know what pieces are what when you cut them so why on earth can't you number them and put some instructions in the box.

The rear deck was stripped of the leather and I installed the speakers, garmin GPS antenna and the XM antenna on the rear shelf. That was the easy part.

There are a few gaps but generally the rear is taking shape. I'm not going to install the carpets side trim that replaces the leather covers over the seat belts.

I left the soundproofing in there but scraped the glue off, a nasty job.

I have the rear footwell sub boxes, so that will cover some of the gaps from the carpet not sitting right.

This is not a job that can be rushed. I have yet to get the glue out and its taken 5 hours already.

Here are a few photos

Cheers

Mark
