Default PSS10s? I didn't get the memo.

PSS9s arrived today, but they are PSS10s. The adjustment dials have changed to larger clearly numbered billet aluminum wheels and the "click" is impossible to miss. There are 10 settings, now reversed from the 9s. 1 is Comfort, and 10 is Sport according to the booklet.

My invoice said: F4-GM5-D263-H0 supercedes F4-GM5-A614-H3.

Is this old news? Anyone know if the 10s have a wider range, stiffer/softer?

Cheers
Roland

Default Pss 10

PSS 10 has the same Low / High force as the PSS9 just one more Stage between. A Result of the Bilstein Germany Motorsport Abteilung and Design.
The best Difference is the Adjuster, he is more Sealed against the Elements, the Inside turning Valve on the PSS9 with little Angel gears is replaced by a vertical moving Piston.
Slick and used in the Rennsport.
The out side thread is a more robust Round thread.
You still should keep this lubricatet with Aluminum Grease.

I just got a pss9 kit from design 911 in the uk. The adjuster is alumium like you describe but I don't remember having 10 settings. I assume these must be "9's" and not "10's" right? Would have been nice to get the latest version i suppose although even as they are this must be the best thing I've ever done to the car. Worth every penny.

Thanks for the info Mr.JaJa. The larger thread definitely made setting the ride height a lot quicker job. While I had hoped "It goes to eleven.", I think the range will suit my current usage.
