Default Stickers in the engine bay 1989 -1993

Dear all,

I'm searching for my next 964. In this quest I have come across a thing I can't figure out when looking at cars. I wan't a car as untouched as possible for a 15 year old car. I'm looking for the original stickers left fender inside, under bonnet but in the engine bay, the org sticker is on the right side, but sometimes there is another to the left. Is there a pattern about this? Exampl, modelyear 1989 = two stickers 1992 and forward 1 sticker or C2 one C4 two. Or German cars two, Us one or more narrow than this... Can't remember how it was on my earlier 964:s. Can't find out about this in Adrians bible either...Puzzled....
Txs..

The decal placement will vary depending on the year. I see the shell oil decal in several locations. The late decals are silver gray and not gold foil.

Sorry for the high jack, but has anyone ever made or looked into having made, replacement Shell Oil stickers? They are NLA from Porsche and mine is very ropey. Was thinking of getting a pattern made and having them printed.

I am in the process of reproducing them. Not an easy task actually.

I have remade the AC decal that is on top of the fan schroud already. I will post when I get the Shell ones done, might be a while though.

Funnily enough I have just made a template for the Shell Oil decal; the other 'yellow' stickers are still available from Porsche. The Shell one was a bit of a pig as the font used isn't quite standard; had to start from scratch as my sticker is too far gone to scan. Just need to find out about printing them. May try using vinyl through a laser printer but will probably go to a sign writer and see what they can do. Let me know how you get on, Pete.
