searched and searched.... my areo mirrors have the usual wires plus 2 purple ones.. I have not seen any posts mentioning purple wires.. what do these connect to?? the car has the 5 wires . I'm working on the passenger side. Hooked up driver side without a problem.

I don't see any purple wires . . .

Note that if you have a digital computer in your tach then there is a temperature sensor in one of the mirrors. I had thought it was the driver's side, but perhaps it's the passenger side?

shld be six . . . or maybe 8 with temp sensor.

I see red, blue, white, black . . looks like the drive motors.

two browns missing . . .two purples present . . .grounds?

What's the 7th?

sorry, did you say you HAVE all of those wires. If so I'll bet the purple are the temp sensor; of course, guessing is no good!

did you have the same set on the other side?

I only have up to 93 and they are the same.

Yes I have all those 8 wires.. should I just tie off the two purple??

Now you're over my head. Sorry.

I would try taping those two purples off by them selves, but I can't advise you to, because I don't know for sure. You could blow something.

That number you posted does not compute as a part # on my PET (v6)
