where the heck can we find aftermarket glass? Is OEM ($) the only way to go? thanks Mark

I've got a used shadded in socal that if you are using for racing would be fine. local pick up only in San Diego.

I have an aftermarket , made in china , windshield in the vanagon .
Its not good .

it's apparantly considered premium glass.........seems only pilkington mfgs. it.......with the Sigla "bug"..............plenty of threads related to windshields on this forum.

I also have a nice OEM one I'll be selling but it may be spoken for. Check around for someone local as shipping glass is notoriously breakage-prone. You can save big $$ by avoiding OEM also.

If It's not claimed -- can I be next in line ? Got a large crack that is growing in mine.

PPG makes a 911 windshield - call one of your local glass guys and check to see if they have any that they can get.

Let me check with the other guy - he is ready to pay $250 - it is not perfect but it has no cracks or chips, just a couple of minor pits that are very hard to notice.
