Default 964 Stolen - UK

Hi Folks,

It's a long shot, and I'm not expecting miracles, but my '89 964 coupe in Stone Grey was stolen last night.

It had a full dark grey leather interior, and the seats had been retrimmed in dark grey leather with dark grey/green alcantara centre pieces, the only obviously unique feature on the car, pic below. The registration was B16 BOO. The car had the original D90's on when taken.

Chassis number is WPOZZZ 96zKS401911
Engine number is M6401-62K G6400

If you should come across the car or any suspiciously cheap parts, please let me know - I'd be delighted at the opportunity of expressing my gratitude!

Thanks,
David

Keep an eye on ebay! Out of interest what sort of alarm system did you have fitted, or did they take the keys?

Sorry to hear the bad news David. I am a regular Ebay parts buyer and will keep a look out for you. Sorry if that implies it would be broken up, but I am guessing that is the only reason someone would steal an 18 year old Porsche. Do people still joy ride? How did they get past the immobiliser and alarm?

Thanks all. They took the keys - there was a trail of open drawers and cupboards (actually very tidy!) from where they broke into the house to where the keys were kept in the kitchen.

They took my wife's X5 too, and the Police found that last night, thanks to the tracker - sadly I hadn't the foresight to fit one to the 964.

Fingers crossed the X5 gives them some pointers to the 964....
