Default worrying rattle underside (C4)

Hi all, for a short while now i had a slightly annoying rattle coming from somewhere underside of the car at around 80mph. It sounded like a braided line tapping the underside and would either appear or disapear depending on what speed i was doing.
However yesterday whilst enjoying a bit of speed romp with another 911 on a motorway, the slight rattle turned into a major rattle/clattering and sounded like it was coming from below the passenger seat or even below the handbrake/gear box.
Any ideas? are there any brake, fuel or oil lines running through there that could have broken loose?
I am really hoping it is something as simple as that, i dont think it sounded as heavy duty as a propshaft thumping about though it was pretty loud. :-(
As soon as i slowed to 65-70 the noise went away.

All advice greatly appreciated. (Car is a 1990 C4).

Mark,

I would jack up the car and take a look at the bottom of the car to check for loose items. There are several panels underneath and one may be loose.

Rob might be right but the fuel supply and return lines also run down the centre under the tranny tunnel - one may be loose.

thanks for the replies guys. Are the fuel lines just clipped to the body? Do i need any special parts from Porsche?
Will get it up on the ramps next weekend and investigate.
