Were (How) to find a 964 CUP
I am considering a shift to a 964 tracking car. My dreamed option would be a 964 RS but, in Europe, a good original is extremely expensive ( around 115.000 $ ).
I am considering a RS America and lately I have read about the 964 CUP. I have found several RSA's but I don't know were to find 964 Cups ..
Could you please help me ?
PS.- Could someone tell me the differences between an RSAmerica and a Cup ? ( sorry but the RSA does not exist in Spain ..)
Tans in advance for your help,

if you thought the 964 RS was expensive you're going to have a shock when you look for a cup. There was a time when the cup cars sold for less than a lightweight 964RS. But with the growth of track days those days have gone. For a general idea of european prices look up the german web site mobile.de and search for 964 cup or do a search on hermanns & schmitz which will bring up Thomas Schmitz website. You might also try GTClassics in UK.
My opinion would be to modify a good 964 Carrera2 rather than go to the expense of importing an RSA. Ninemiester will also build a full RS replica or cup for that matter but the cost is similar to a 64RS and so may be out of your buget range.

Hi,
An RS America is basically a version of a normal C2, whereas the Cup car (from '92 onwards) is a variant of the Euro 964RS. The earlier cup cars were based on a C2 shell which was seam welded and all the cup bits fitted - the 964RS was in turn derived from this.
H+S ( http://www.germansportscars.de/shoper.html) has a 964 cup listed for 60K euros, I don't know what kind of shape it's in. A lot of these have been modified, but good original ones are more expensive than a 964RS lightweight.

Forget the RS America it has nothing to do with the European RS

Boqueron, you might want to get a copy of the current issue of 911 & Porscheworld featuring a C2 modified to RS spec by a specialist in the UK.
On a budget, this is the best you can get. I had a fabulous, great and gorgeous C2 that I recently sold for as little as Swiss Francs 40000. It weighed 1280kg, had a 993 gearbox with short gearing, 290hp, Turbo brakes and was just about as fast on a track as the car replacing it, my 964 RS Clubsport, at half the price.
And you could drive it on the road without getting deaf.
