Check engine light on 91 C2

The CE light comes on during spirited acceleration and takes a while to go off. Any ideas??

Couldn't get a code

Thanks, I tried that method, but couldn't get a code, the CE light just stayed on and never flashed. Its going to a little independent shop on Wednesday for other stuff, I may have him look at it.

Do you have an aftermarket performance chip? Also, if the light goes out while you're driving the ECU will likely not store a fault code.

Where are you located? If near St Louis, we could try to read your codes. This will motivate me to get the right adapter so I can use the charger for my hammer.
