Can you grab the bolt(s) with Vice-Grips and snap them off then just replace the bolts?

What about grinding the bolt head off with a dremel tool?

Well I did the grind and still no luck.. pretty much destroyed the fuse panel cover to find the metal sleeve that the cover bolt screwws into is spining with the bolt. Oh well will figure that out later. I'm just happy I found the blown fuse that was causing all the problems So saved a bunch doing things myself and in the process destroyed a fuse panel cover No good deed goes unpunished .

Well, I'm sure you can purchase a new cover. Something that would likely have occurred with a specialist, too. At least you're not paying a specialist for the hours required to get the cover off. In the end it's still a win. Frustrating, yes, but still a win.

I have the same thing and have been delaying fixing it as don't really need to get in there at the moment. Seems to be easily done by overtightening the screws....
