Steering Rack: Grease?
Hi all,
ref. my other thread on steering rack rebuild. Does anyone know if the non wet part (as in no hydraulic oil) of the rack is supposed to be filled with grease? That is the pinion area to be specific. I can't tell from dismantling as any grease that may have been there would have been flushed out from my excessive leakage. Any info appreciated.
