Hi Russ, I've been thinking the same for my 92C2 recently. I'm just up the road on Merseyside, maybe we could meet somewhere to compare performance of our cars? Trouble is, even if they turn out the same, how do we know they're not both down on power?!

Cheers

My car was run on the same day that Rob had his done and mine made 243.1bhp. My car has the ProMax chip and a dual outlet Fabspeed exhaust but had had no other work done since it was new - some 120,000 miles ago.

Since that dyno run a couple of years ago I'm convinced that my car has just got better and better the more it's used - and the small oil leaks seem to improve too. I'm sure it's true that these engines thrive on use. I just wish I could use mine more.

Regards

Dave

My car has done just over 100k on a standard engine. The only "power" mod is a cat bypass, which as we all know is worth about zero hp! My friend has a chipped Audi TT with an SPA speedo wired in, which times 0-60, 0- 100 etc.. with 1000% accuracy. His car consistently does 5.6 and 5.7 secs for the 0-60mph and yet my 17 year old C4 still eats his TT for breakfast. I guess that means they don't lose too much power...?

Cheers
